We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Textiles to join our vibrant, ambitious and highly creative department, where fashion, design and innovation come together to inspire the next generation of designers. As part of our newly established Creative Visual Arts and Technology Faculty, alongside Product Design, Art and Computer Science, you will play a key role in delivering a contemporary, future-focused curriculum that reflects the ever-evolving creative industries.

From the moment students begin their journey at Putney, they are immersed in the world of fashion and textiles, exploring a diverse range of techniques, materials and design processes while engaging with influential designers, fashion movements, and the social and environmental impact of the industry. The department enjoys an outstanding record of success, with students regularly progressing to some of the world's most prestigious fashion and design institutions, including Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Polimoda in Florence and Parsons School of Design in New York.

The Textiles Department embodies the creative, adventurous spirit of Putney: innovative in its thinking, ambitious in its aspirations and dedicated to empowering young people to shape the future of design. If you are passionate about fashion and textiles education and excited by the opportunity to inspire talented young designers, we would be delighted to hear from you. We are well placed to support both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners alike.
