We are pioneers in girls’ education and aim to reshape the future of learning itself. We empower our girls to believe in themselves and value the positive contribution they can make to the world. Join our progressive and evolving team, where we work together to promote and enable this ambitious and aspirational cultural, take on the challenge of ensuring we have the right systems in place to support our schools.

This vacancy provides the opportunity for a well-qualified, inspirational teacher of Science (specialism Biology to A Level; Chemistry and Physics to at least GCSE would be beneficial), to teach across the Senior School, with a unified science course at Year 7-8 and individual science subjects from Year 9, including specialism to A Level, medical pathways support and possibly Oxbridge entrance.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to the role

We are looking for a well-qualified graduate with a passion for teaching and excellent subject knowledge of Science teaching across the main disciplines with a focus on Biology. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a commitment to continuing professional development, as well as being efficient and organised. She/he will be an excellent communicator who can enthuse and inspire both pupils and colleagues and will have exciting ideas about Science teaching and the ways in which Biology can be further developed and encouraged across the whole school and within the GDST. The successful candidate will help develop engaging schemes of work, support the programme of trips and visits, assist with university preparation, including for medicine-related courses, and be committed to supporting the vibrant extracurricular life of the school.

For any questions about the role, please see the application instructions for contact information.
