Sydenham High School is looking to appoint a dynamic, creative and innovative Geography Teacher to join our popular and successful Geography Department.

The department runs a range of field trips each year, such as to Lake District and Southwold, as well as making good use of more local environments in Sydenham, Stratford and Battersea.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic classroom practitioner with proficiency in teaching Geography from KS3 to KS5, to contribute to the academic and personal development of our pupils. You will have an innovative understanding of teaching and learning and you will have high expectations of all pupils’ achievements. Ideally the candidate will show considerable initiative and be prepared to innovate both in the classroom and in the field. Staff are expected to be digitally literate and are encouraged to develop their personal digital skills.

Experience of teaching another subject, such as RS, would be beneficial and could be considered for a full time role.
