Contract: Part time, 20 hours per week during term time.

Salary: £12,862 actual. (£27,168.00 FTE - Grade 2)

What you’ll be doing

At Nottingham Girls High School, we run a fleet of minibuses and MPVs to ensure our girls are safely and comfortably transported to and from school. We are looking for a minibus driver to join our professional and conscientious team. You will work 20 hours per week, term time only.

The shift patterns are as follows:

Approximate driving times: 06:45 - 08:30 and then 15:15 - 17:25, plus daily prestart safety inspection, fueling and washing of the bus

What skills and experience you’ll bring to the role

● A valid Cat D1 classification on your driving licence plus an acceptable driving record

● Have/be prepared to take the MIDAS qualification

● The ability to react calmly in emergency situations

● Over 21 years of age

● Have/be prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification

● Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the bus
