Job Title: Part Time PE Teacher
The role
Kensington Prep seeks an enthusiastic, skilled and committed PE Teacher to join its thriving Physical Education department on a part-time basis (2 or 3 days per week)
The successful candidate will be a passionate educator who promotes enjoyment, participation and high standards in sport, while contributing positively to the wider life of the school. This will include a willingness to support team training and fixtures, some of which may take place outside the normal school day.
Kensington Prep has an exceptional Physical Education and Games department that is central to school life and highly valued by pupils and parents alike. The department is very well resourced and well supported, with an experienced and accomplished team of PE staff and a PE Assistant Sports Coach working collaboratively to deliver a broad and ambitious sporting programme.
The school has on-site PE facilities, including a dedicated sports court, and makes excellent use of high-quality off-site venues for training, fixtures and specialist provision.
Regular fixtures are played against other schools, and pupils are encouraged to compete with confidence, resilience and sportsmanship. Core sports include netball, football, cricket and swimming, with notable recent success including reaching the IAPS National Finals for netball.
The department places strong emphasis on skill development, teamwork, enjoyment and personal challenge, supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their best and develop a lifelong love of physical activity.
