Applications are invited from well qualified and passionate teachers with the ability to teach the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum to join a thriving and successful department.
Key Stage 1 at Blackheath High School follows the Creative Curriculum with a lively and inspiring range of activities, workshops, trips and visitors. Key Stage 2 offers a rich and varied curriculum with specialist teaching increasing as the girls move through the Key Stage. The curriculum is full of academic rigour, the lessons are fun and play remains important.
To ensure this continues, you will play a key role using an appropriate range of teaching strategies and resources, teaching with expertise and enthusiasm and offering support to the learning of individual students. Staff are also expected to contribute to our co-curricular programme.
If you have experience of working in KS1 and/or KS2 and can demonstrate equal passion for your subject and working with young pupils, we would be delighted to hear from you.
