South Hampstead High School is seeking an exceptional Junior School Class Teacher to join its dedicated and enthusiastic team for a period of maternity cover.
This is an opportunity to teach bright, motivated and inquisitive pupils within a happy and vibrant Junior School community. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing the right balance of challenge, pace and enrichment to help every girl thrive and fulfil her potential. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school, including its rich programme of trips, events and co-curricular activities.
You will be a qualified teacher with QTS and a proven track record of excellent classroom practice. You should have experience of planning and delivering the National Curriculum, alongside the confidence and creativity to extend learning beyond it. Strong ICT skills, a collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young learners are also important.
