Salary: £27,080 pro rata to £21,471 , (Term Time Only). 

London Support Staff, Grade 1

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week. Usually Monday to Friday but there may be some weekend events. Flexible daily timings including before and after school hours.

Streatham & Clapham High School is an independent, academically selective school for girls, age 3-18 with over 870 pupils across the Prep and Senior Schools. The Senior School inhabits a four-acre site focused on an impressive 1930s building in a delightfully tranquil and leafy oasis of south London. The Role:

Streatham and Clapham Prep is inviting departing sixth formers, who are enthusiastic and keen to work with children to come and work alongside them. We are looking for an energetic, creative individual eager to make a significant impact on our students’ lives. This role offers a diverse set of responsibilities, enhancing your skills and providing invaluable experiences.

Key focus areas of the role will include:

• Sports – key sports include; Hockey, Netball, Gymnastics, Athletics, Cricket and swimming. This opportunity will allow you to immerse yourself in supporting both PE curricular and co-curricular activities.

• Classroom based support – you will contribute to lessons, across all areas of the curriculum and support our girls on their learning journey.

• Wider School offering – you will support in wider school activities including; assemblies, clubs, day trips and residential trips. This role will involve supporting in events including Sports Days and Open Days which sometimes go beyond the conventional school hours. Additionally, the role will involve supporting across the wider Prep School life – support in Music, Drama and Art would be part of the expectation along with support at key events and functions.
