We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to play a vital role in developing the academic and strategic vision of Streatham and Clapham Prep School.
As a key member of our Prep Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for teaching, learning and academic outcomes and making key contributions to the development and implementation of the school’s strategic development plan, ensuring our academic policies and strategies enable every pupil to thrive.
When necessary, you will deputise for the Head of Prep, managing the school effectively in their absence, as well as overseeing and organising daily staff cover across the school. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also be expected to teach a reduced timetable.
You will be an expert in academic leadership, who has the vision and ability to inspire others and implement effective strategic development and change. You will demonstrate strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to resolve challenging and complex situations. Excellent teaching skills are essential, whilst previous experience in a Deputy or Assistant Head role would be advantageous.
