The Role:

If so, Croydon High has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Alumnae Relations Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy and External Relations, you will be instrumental in leading the strategy and development of our alumnae network, the Ivy Link, and its connection with the broader GDST Alumnae Network. You will be the central point of contact for our valued alumnae, fostering a strong sense of community and connection with the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Identify and implement strategy for growth and engagement of the Ivy Link, aligning it with the GDST Alumnae Networks.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Ivy Link members and the GDST Alumnae Network.
- Event Management: Oversee planning and execution of a variety of alumnae events on school premises, including the Annual Lunch, Tea Party, and reunions.
- Budget Management: Manage the Ivy Link budget effectively, ensuring resources are utilised strategically.
- Communications: Produce our annual alumnae magazine and manage regular communications to keep our alumnae informed and engaged.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Philanthropy and External Relations on strategic initiatives and philanthropic endeavours.
- Social Media: Lead the Ivy Link's social media campaigns to promote the school and highlight events.
- Student Engagement: Collaborate with the Head of Progression & Futures to connect alumnae with current Sixth Form students through relevant programmes and initiatives.
- Archival Management: Oversee and develop our historical archives as a valuable resource for the school community.
- Database Management: Maintain, manage, and update our database to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
The working hours are during term time only, with some additional days to be worked during school closure periods, 21.6 hours per week over 3 days (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday), between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm, with a 50-minute unpaid lunch break.
