The Role:
We are looking for a Digital marketing Officer to support pupil recruitment and retention on a fixed term basis by planning, creating and delivering high-quality digital content and campaigns across web and social platforms, in line with the School’s marketing strategy.
The successful candidate will proactively source, create and publish engaging content across digital channels in line with the marketing strategy, develop and manage digital campaigns, including email, social media and paid advertising. We to meet people who can use storytelling, photography and video to showcase school life, manage and grow the School’s social media presence (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and build creative, audience-focused campaigns that inform, engage and inspire.
Skills, qualifications & experience should include:
• Proven experience in a digital marketing role
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience managing social media channels and campaigns
• Knowledge of SEO, analytics tools and paid advertising platforms
• Experience using CMS systems and digital marketing tools
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to analyse data and inform campaign decisions
• Creative, proactive and able to generate ideas independently
• Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Howell’s School, Llandaff, is one of the oldest girls’ school in Wales, having opened in August 1860. Since then, it has steadily expanded, both in terms of student numbers and physical size.
