South Hampstead High School is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join a high-performing, intellectually ambitious department from September 2026. Teaching Mathematics across Years 7 to 13, you will be working with pupils who are highly motivated, articulate and academically curious. Mathematics is one of the most popular subjects in the school, with strong uptake post-16 and consistently outstanding outcomes at GCSE and A Level.
About you
The role suits a teacher who enjoys teaching at the top end, relishes challenge and takes pride in developing confident, independent mathematical thinkers. If you enjoy thinking deeply about how pupils learn and are comfortable working in a classroom culture where curiosity, discussion and challenge are encouraged, we would like to hear from you.
