Job Purpose
We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Officer to implement the school’s marketing, pupil recruitment and communications strategies, to support the achievement of the school’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be a confident and enthusiastic professional who is passionate about developing their career within marketing, with a specific interest in digital marketing, social media, PR and communication. Design expertise, photography or videography skills would be highly valued. Copy writing skills, proofreading and accuracy are essential.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating a programme of communication and events for the alumnae. Supported by the GDST Philanthropy and Alumnae team, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring regular appeals and mailings are undertaken as part of Royal High School Bath’s commitment to GDST alumnae fundraising.
The ideal candidate will support the Marketing and Communications Manager with any fundraising and development campaigns through PR, social media and promotional activity, the production of collateral and reporting regularly through newsletters and other channels.
About the School
Royal High Bath is an academically selective, independent day (3-18) and boarding (11-18) school for approximately 550 girls. Prep and Senior Schools are both situated on the northern side of Bath, enjoying commanding views of the city and with good access to the A46 and M4. 115 boarders aged 11-18 live on the senior site in two boarding houses. The Sixth Form is on the same site as the Senior School.
