Hours:
21.6 per week over three days (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday)
8.00am to 4.00pm, with a 50-minute unpaid lunch break
Term time, with some additional days to be worked during school closure periods (as well as INSET days)
The Role:
Croydon High School is looking for a Chemistry Technician to play an essential role in the day-to-day support of a thriving Science Department. The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills, patience and flexibility and an ability to build relationships with both staff and young people. Previous experience of working in a Science laboratory would be advantageous, together with an awareness of the importance of health and safety.
The successful candidate will manage classroom resources, requisitions and the security and organisation of all Science equipment and chemicals in storage.
