The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional with an extensive technical background to join our ICT team at South Hampstead High School.
Working alongside the ICT Manager and Technician, you will provide technical support to ensure that the school's 1000+ users are able to effectively access ICT services. This will involve:
- Managing, monitoring and maintaining the school's ICT systems
- Installing and upgrading ICT systems
- Ensuring the integrity of the school’s systems are maintained and secure
- Providing technical advice to support the resolution of issues, escalating when necessary
About you
We are looking for a skilled technician, with an in-depth knowledge of ICT technologies, systems and hardware.
You will need proven experience of server and network infrastructure, along with experience of diagnosing and resolving complex technical errors, providing ICT advice and guidance, implementing ICT systems change and devising system procedures and policies.
You will also need a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2019, DHCP, DNS GPO, SCCCM and TCP/IP. Experience of working with Active Directory is also essential.
